Troubleshooting

Due to the wide array of devices and operating systems with which this app is viewed there can be issues in using certain aspects of this app. Here are a few instructions to hopefully make your enjoyment of the this app a positive expereince.

 

iPhones/iPad Login Issue: Our member area uses your iphones safari browser to hold the cookie which keeps you logged in to your account. By default Safari is set to block 3rd party cookies. We are a third party. In order to address this issue you need to allow this app to store a sesssion cookie on your device while you are enjoying the member area.

  1. Go to the Home screen by pressing the Home button or by unlocking your phone
  2. Select the Settings icon
  3. Select Safari from the Settings menu
  4. Select Accept Cookies from the Safari menu
  5. Select From visited from the Accept Cookies menu
  6. Press the Home button to return to the iPhone/ iPad home screen
  7. Close and then reopen this app

Forgot Password or Login ID: If you have tried to login and it will not accept your password 3x simply click on forgot password and we will send you instructions to reset it. Repeatedly trying to login with incorrect information will temporarily create a scurity block for 15 minutes.

Unable to use certain features of podcast or live show: Occassionaly your device may be runnin g certain operating systems or other apps that will interfer with the running of our app in this case you can access the member portion of this app via your devices browser. Simply go to http://www.joymediamemberportal.com and login directly thru your devices web browser. For your convenience podcasts are available as downloads for your to enjoy when you're not online and using your own media player on your smart device.
